Stayed here for a weekend and loved the quaint and charming ambiance. the staff was extremely courteous and helpful, making our stay very comfortable. the location was perfect, just a five-minute walk from the town square and beautiful churches. the rooms were spacious and clean with great bathroom facilities. the breakfast spread was decent, offering a variety of fresh foods.
The noise from the nearby road was quite disturbing, especially at night. It was difficult to get a good night's sleep as there was no air conditioning and the windows had to be kept open due to warmth.

Great location; helpful staff, Ambiance of the old, colonial building is very special.
The building is necessarily noisy, with traffic on street and in the hall. We felt the experience of staying in the classic old building was worth that annoyance.

Good location, walking distance to major sites. Room had a nice rustic charm.
Poor breakfast, limited and fabricated (juice from a box, mass produced breads and pastries). Common spaces need updating (can update and still maintain rustic feel)

The common areas are larges and very nicely decorated, with free wifi The staff was nice The restaurant was good and open on Christmas eve (we had the excellent fondue bourguignone).
What a strange hotel! It is located in a 18th century building, with elements from the seventies and some very contemporary. Bath and fixtures are worn-out (but clean) Room are very monachal, and furniture is stern.

It’s near the sights in Ouro Preto and central to the plaza. the lobby area and the rooms are well-appointed and have a historic charm. Front desk staff are extremely courteous and helpful. the hotel also serves a typical Brazilian breakfast with quite a variety of foods.
The hotel lacks privacy. the rooms have an open vent straight to the halls, making it very noisy.

The Pousada is close to everything. There is a beautiful church just next to it: Igreja da Concepcão. You can walk anywhere from there, close to Tiradentes Square, restaurants, churches, shops.

The hotel had a great location close to all the main areas of this city. The staff was extremely friendly and despite the language barrier, they put in extra effort to communicate through a translator. The secured car parking was convenient and the free welcome drink was a nice touch. The view from my room was remarkable, allowing me to see the city's beauty daily.
Nothing all good.

A building with a historic charm, yet rooms (particularly the bathroom) are updated.

Nothing. Maybe the view from the window could be better.

We had a fantastic stay at this venue! The location in the historical center was perfect, as we were able to easily explore the sights of this beautiful city. Plus, the view from our room was absolutely stunning, allowing us to take in the charm of Ouro Preto right from our window.
The service at this hotel was top-notch. The staff, although limited in English, were incredibly kind and friendly, even using Google Translate to ensure clear communication.

During our new year stay in this hotel, we appreciated the cleanliness of the rooms and the availability of hot water in the shower. The hotel has a convenient location for exploring the surrounding area and some decent amenities. The breakfast buffet offered a variety of options, including fresh bread and fruit.
Our stay was spoiled by unfriendly staff who didn't seem to care about our comfort. We had a problematic check-in experience, and the receptionist was unapologetic for the inconvenience.
